Who we are
Critical Deal is the trading name of the entity continuing the B2B research practice a B2B research firm registered in England as EB100 Ltd. We are based in the United Kingdom.
What data we collect, site visitors
- Server logs. Standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, request path, response status, timestamp). Retained 30 days for security and performance monitoring.
- Form submissions. When you submit the enquiry form, we store the fields you provide (name, email, company, role, decision context). We use this only to respond to your enquiry.
- Analytics. Privacy-respecting analytics on page-level behaviour. No third-party cookies, no cross-site tracking.
What data we collect, research participants
When you participate in a research interview commissioned by Critical Deal:
- We collect only the information needed to conduct the interview and analyse the findings.
- Participation is voluntary and consent is captured at the start of each interview.
- Recordings, transcripts and analysis are anonymised before being shared with the commissioning client.
- Identifying information is held separately from the research dataset and deleted at the end of the engagement (or earlier, on request).
How we use the data
- To respond to enquiries.
- To conduct and deliver commissioned research engagements.
- To operate and secure the website.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not use personal data for ad targeting.
